Hello guys I know I stopped making blog posts but here is a new one about a weekly mantra.I think it means you aren't controlling what you are doing like saying words you don't mean. The nerve is when your acting up to fight a person but when you take a big breath its gone just walk away then the nerve goes back down.
I am a Year 6 ākonga/student in the Uru Mānuka Cluster. My kaiko/teacher is Whaea Miki. This is a place where I will share my learning. Please note that some of it will not be complete, it will be my first drafts. Remember to be positive, thoughtful, and helpful when you leave me a comment.

To support my learning I ask you to comment as follows:
1. Something positive - something you like about what I have shared.
2. Thoughtful - A sentence to let us know you actually read/watched or listened to what I had to say
3. Something helpful - how have you connected with my learning? Give me some ideas for next time or ask me a question.

Hello Makayla,
ReplyDeleteIt's great to see you blogging. It doesn't matter that it's been a while, the main thing is,you're doing it now.
Thanks for sharing your word of the week.Did you Google the meaning of 'mantra'?.I'm not quite sure it matches your work.
Have a great weekend and keep safe.
Hi Makayla. It's so nice to see you are blogging again. You know how sometimes things happen (maybe like Covid-19) that we can't do anything about? We can't make it go away on our own but instead of getting upset about it, we can make up our mind to be positive about it and find things to be happy about. Does that make sense? I hope you have a fantastic weekend. :)
ReplyDeleteGood morning Makayla.
ReplyDeleteI hope you had a great weekend.I can't wait to see more of the work that you have been doing while you have been in your bubble.
I hope to see you soon.Take care and have a super week.
Hi Makayla, great to see a blog post about your distance learning. We'll have to let Mrs Cassidy know that I call our quote of the week a 'weekly mantra'. I like using the word mantra because I want us to keep repeating the statement to ourselves as a reminder. During the last few weeks can you think of a time when you have tried hard not to let something you can't control bother you? I look forward to seeing some more blog posts from you soon.
ReplyDeleteGood morning Makayla.
ReplyDeleteI can see by reading Mrs Mclachan's comment, that I didn't understand your writing.I guess that's a problem for me because I don't get to work in the senior classes as much as some of the other teacher aides.
I look forward to reading more of your blogs.
Have a great week.
