All Children Should Learn Another Language

This term we are learning about persuasive writing. The purpose of persuasive writing is to change someones opinion or what they believe. We started to make a planner to organise our ideas and then we put them on a jamboard. We had to add the ideas into a hamburger plan and select an idea off the persuasive writing book and write why or not we agree with the statement.

Descriptive Writing

 

Hello readers,

This was the last week to finish our writing I have finished my writing in time. We were given a choice whether to write a descriptive piece of writing for a spaceship or a treehouse. I chose a treehouse please look at my story and if you have enough time to comment down below. 

Susie looked at her brother’s treehouse.   The roof was made out of hay. The walls were made out of wood and the branches were cut off. She could see sap coming down from the tree. She heard loud voices and she couldn’t identify everyone who was talking. She could smell fish and chips up from the treehouse. She could taste her saliva in her mouth. 

She heard laughing and her face went from a smile to a sad face. Her mouth was still watering, overfilling with saliva. She made such a loud gulp that her brother laughed at her. She described her brother's soul as like a thousand midnights. She heard a fizzy pop. Her face turned red, she clenched her fists and punched the tree. It had a tiny mark then it disappeared, she was so mad steam was blowing out from her ears.

 A full fizzy bottle fell down and she opened the bottle and drank it. When she was finished drinking the bottle she did a big burp and threw the bottle at her brother. Hay fell off the treehouse onto Susie and she started to sneeze.

 She coughed and sneezed, she started to itch her arms. She dusted off the hay then she threw hay on her brother. Then he started to sneeze and cough loudly. It was a disaster. Both of them were sneezing and coughing loudly. 

In the next 10 minutes they were normal again but still coughing loudly. More germs were spreading around the dusty treehouse from sneezing and coughing. In the next 30 minutes they were in the hospital coughing and sneezing very loudly. They were fine but when they got back they got in trouble!

I saw to men officer robbing a dairy the date was 8-3-2021.

It was raining to men sitting in a car I hid behind the car I put an umbrella under my head they got out of the car one of the men  looked really short he was  wearing white and red shoes he was wearing a cyan jersey and blue denim pants.

The other one was tall he looked angry he got out of the car  he was wearing an orange knitted  mask and a white jersey and grey pants with red and white shoes.

The man with a cyan jersey was carrying a bag the tall man the little man banged against the door then I noticed the tall man  he had a gun in his hand when they entered the dairy .

I moved my umbrella away from my head the security camera looked at them the tall man pointed a gun at him I was shocked I stood still shaking the gun was full with 4 bullets made of gold.

The man in the shop was making his eyes like he was cross eyed the tall man looked at the shopkeeper and was about to shoot just as the cyan jersey man was pretending like he could do kung fu but he kicked the wall and hit the counter then  he passed out

I went to call the police and I got in side of the dairy and said “Hey Stupid come and get me”

I opened a big pack of chips.

I threw them at the tall man he said “Wake Up! He said  to the short man”.

I got mentos and coke I put some mentos inside the coke I threw at them they were covered in coke the cops arrived then I ended up getting investigate then I had to pay a big fine.

Bang! Bang! Bang! Came from the tv in-the living room. It was very gloomy and dark. It felt like a storm.Couch a big red bag so it is his.He hit one of the buttons then a  bang! Bang! Bang!  Bang! Came from the tv  the boys name was Zack wearing a blue jersey,yellow shorts sitting on the couch.Beside the  table there was potato chips,he was being lazy playing video games,soon the door opened his mother came in with a big brown box with small holes with a big dark black arrow.She said “Sorry sweetie I came in late because I picked up something”. “You should let some sun in” she said to her son,She opened the blinds. It was very bright. The sun was shining  he started to blink because the sun reflected to the tv then  he  blinked.His mother said “Why don’t you open your present?” He said “Present for me?” he paused the game.The mother went up stairs her boss called she told him “Yes sir I don’t know where the papers are”He opened one side then the puppy came up.He picked it up he said “Ew!” then threw him down then he had  pushed the box down to the ground when the puppy came near him zack had kicked the puppy then  said “Go away!” then he unpaused the game then puppy saw a red bright ball under a white draw he started to run but he fell down he walked to the ball then the puppy had tried to get it but the puppy bumped his head then the draw wobbled  a bang came  the puppy put his  head down the puppy  used his teeth to take it out.He started to play with it.The puppy rolled around  then the ball went in the box he paused it again when the box came off  .The puppy wasn’t looking he smiled when the puppy looked he went angry then when the puppy came with the ball to the boy he smiled he got his crutches went   to  with the dog to the door when he got there he saw a giraffe toy near the door side  then he opened the door a bit wide. He told his  mom “Mom I'm going outside!”  The puppy came near the door then had pushed the door open wide for zack.They got outside. He threw the ball then the puppy ran after it.Zack started to walk after the dog.

Hello my name is Makayla and i go to hornby primary school. I live with my sisters, my brother, My mum and dad, and my dog named guku and I live in New Zealand. I like to watch movies with my family. Me and some of my friends are in room 11 and we have yr 4/5  . We have been learning about so many things! And Mrs. Mclachlan is an amazing incredible teacher. We learnt so much about her.I want to get better at basketball .I like to play on my Xbox. I love to play with my dog guku and I love to have water fights! And I love to go to Time Zone.My cat named paws doesn’t like to play with anyone just my dad. And I like to play around the backyard. I help out mum and dad. I help clean up. I  go on my computer and do fun things on it. Sometimes we go in our pool with my brother and he doesn’t like cold water. Are there anymore things you want to know about me? And suggestion's.
