Hello this week we have been learning about celebrations so here is a slideshow to explain what you need and to do
I am a Year 6 ākonga/student in the Uru Mānuka Cluster. My kaiko/teacher is Whaea Miki. This is a place where I will share my learning. Please note that some of it will not be complete, it will be my first drafts. Remember to be positive, thoughtful, and helpful when you leave me a comment.

To support my learning I ask you to comment as follows:
1. Something positive - something you like about what I have shared.
2. Thoughtful - A sentence to let us know you actually read/watched or listened to what I had to say
3. Something helpful - how have you connected with my learning? Give me some ideas for next time or ask me a question.

Good afternoon Makayla.
ReplyDeleteWhat I find fascinating is the way that different cultures celebrate.
Some go without eating certain foods and some have special dances and activities that they do at certain times of the year.
I did find your slide show lacking some important information. You have a list of things that people need but you haven't explained what you need to do with those items.
It would have also been more interesting to watch if you explained what people do or don't do to celebrate Diwali.
I hope you are having a wonderful time with your family.
Samantha and I are going to Willowbank on Friday to feed the lemurs.
What have you been doing?.
