Take time to korero (Take time to talk)

Kia ora

This week we have been learning about Mental Health Awareness Week. We have been doing tasks releated to Mental Health. We also have been making a poster how to reconect with others like a family member or maybe a friend. Mental health is important for our wellbeing and if we aren't feeling good that is why you can tell a family member or just tell a friend. Take time to korero, if you have any posive feedback or something I can fix up please comment down below.

  1. Kia ora Mak,
These are some great ways to connect with cousins that you haven't spoken to in a while. I wonder if you will make a phone call during the holidays?
    Have a great break!

  2. Hello Makayla.
You are lucky to have cellphones to connect with family.Back when I was at Primary School we had to write or meet up with friends. There was no such thing as a cellphone. If we wanted to write we would have to tie a note to a pigeons leg and then let the pigeon go :)

    1. Hello Mrs Cassidy,
It sounds very interesting that in the days in the past you had to tie a note on a pigeons leg then let it go.I wonder if was trained to take or does it just fly around?
      Have a great day!

1. Something positive - something you like about what I have shared.
2. Thoughtful - A sentence to let us know you actually read/watched or listened to what I had to say
3. Something helpful - how have you connected with my learning? Give me some ideas for next time or ask me a question.
